This market butcher has already prepared chickens and ducks for sale at Chau Long Market (Chùa Châu Long), 112 Trấn Vũ, Trúc Bạch, Ba Đình, Hà Nội, VietnamSad but true, we many people consider killing a chicken and ducks by cutting their heads off. In Vietnam they are killed by bleeding them to death; as the blood is drunk and whole bird is eaten including the head. Nothing is wasted, now that makes sense !!
Chicken dishes that Vietnamese love made out of chicken are in another section.
Chicken feet and heads of course are eaten too. Nothing is wasted like in the Western world, here everything is used in various dishes. These feet are marinated, skewered, roasted and are popular with a glass of beer.

It always cracks me up to see some poor dead chicken with its legs up in the air. The feet are also delicacies and can be grilled.
