Sure this subject will freak some of you out, I know it would be so much more PC, it I had just taken the advice of others, did the safe thing and left it out.  But for a gal like me who is a more than a bit weird and WOW, what could she do ?  Plus, we are here to look at someone else’s life and culture, which can’t be done if we spring clean it first to make it acceptable to our palate.

If we do that, it is time to drop the book and go back to reading a glossy fashion mag, but we are not going to make any real discoveries that way.

Vietnamese eating dogs has never meant to be anything bad, and totally accepted as a normal food group.  It was only when foreigners come in ranting and raving; they started to wonder what all the fuss is about.

Don’t panic !!  In a restaurant no one is going to accidentally serve you dog meat to replace a chicken dish as it wouldn’t be wasted on someone who didn’t appreciate it.
